Stockyard Championship Rodeo
This rodeo is one that lasts all year long. Just about every weekend throughout the year you can find some saddle sore cowboys and cowgirls going at it for fun and prizes. Located in Cowtown Coliseum there is something new to see and do every Friday and Saturday night.

Rodeo Events
It wouldn’t be a rodeo without bucking broncs and snorting bulls. And the challenge is on weekly at the coliseum. Every weekend you can see cowboys riding and romping in the Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping and Breakaway Roping competition. Cowgirls see hard action in the Barrel Racing and Bareback Riding. The Breakaway Roping happens so fast that if you sneeze you just might miss the best darn roper out there.

And no one is left out of the adventure and thrill of the rodeo. Kids can participate in the Calf Scramble and Mutton Busting events for prizes of their very own.

Wild West Show
It isn’t exactly Wild Bill Hickok’s but it sure comes mighty close when it comes to the Pawnee Bill Wild West Show. An original traveling show over ninety years ago, this re-enactment has many of the same spine tingling thrills it did back then. Trick shooting and riding, roping, and even Pawnee Bill himself re-appears.

Entertainment & Shopping
There is always music and entertainment going on at the stockyard. And with plenty of restaurants and fast food places within the area you find something to please every palate. Of course the usual quick bites to eat can be had at the Stockyard.
